Kaczanowski & Co. is an Australian family owned and operated business specialising in manufacturing premium quality gourmet smallgoods. We produce award winning cured and cooked beef, chicken, lamb and pork products.
The Kaczanowski & Co. brand dates back to 1898 when Mr G Kaczanowski our grandfather who owned a butcher shop made bespoke European smallgoods in Summer Hill, Sydney, NSW. Experimenting with recipes for brines and cures, he developed a range of smallgoods that became renowned in the area.
The current owners bought the business in 1986 and have transformed it to become one of Australia’s leading smallgoods companies, consistently recognised for producing award winning premium quality products.
In 2014, we were nominated for the Royal Agricultural Society's President's Medal - the highest honour that can be given to an Australian food producer.
Today, we continue to use Grandfather's original recipes alongside new products catering to the changing tastes of Australian families.
Our products
Our signature pork and beef products were developed, refined and have been handed down through the generations. They are still great tasting, market leading products today and we challenge our customers to take the taste test and compare them against our competition.
More recently we have developed products such as roast lamb, spec, gourmet bacon and more.
Our competitive difference is quality – we source as ethically and sustainably as possible, we buy only Australian farmed and produced beef, chicken, lamb, and pork, we use only the highest quality ingredients, and we minimise the use of additives and preservatives. Our cooking process is unique, and it produces more succulent products with real and distinctive taste.

Kaczanowski & Co. is conveniently located 200m from the Sydney Meat Market in South Strathfield, Sydney. We supply our products from our factory gate and through our distribution network to fine food delicatessens, cafes, restaurants, grocery and speciality stores across Australia.
